LOYALISTS CLAIM A SUCCESS
REBELS DENY INTENTION OF USING GAS LONDON, December 22. A -Spanish Government communique claims that in addition to resisting a five days' attack the loyalists have recaptured the strategic suburb of Boadilla. General Franco has issued a statement that he has not the slightest intention of using poison gas, which he regards as inhuman.
