250 DEAD AND 1000 INJURED
■ MANY HOMELESS AFTER SAN SALVADOR EARTHQUAKE (Received December 23, 12.15 a.m.) SAN SALVADOR, December 22. Deaths in the :arthquake vffiich destroyed the city of San Vincente have mounted to 250, and the injured total 1000. The search of the ruins for bodies continues. Thousands are homeless, their adobe houses having been destroyed. Six thousand refugees received shelter and food at hospitals, schools, and public buildings here.
