ITALY ACQUIRES A CONCESSION
REPORTED PURCHASE NEAR ADEN (Received December 22, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 21. Both “The Times” and the “Manchester Guardian” carry a story from Cairo that the Italians have acquired for 20,000 dollars a concession in the seaport of Assadielfayal, north-east of Aden, from an independent tribe of Bedouins in
the' Hadramaut region. British officials are investigating the report.
