“Youth Hostels,” the publication of the Youth Hostel Association of New Zealand for 1937. contains valuable information for trampers. There is a full list of hostels throughout Canterbury. Banks Peninsula, and the West Coast. There are interesting articles by authorities on the botanical, geological. historical, and other aspects of walking tours, and several messages, including one from J. E. Lovelock.
