She is to sail to-night, on the arrival of the 6.50 p.m. train from Christchurch, for Wellington, thence Bluff. Milford Sound, and Melbourne. The Holmdale is due here to-morrow from Picton. She will load for Wellington. The Wingatui, due here on Friday from Auckland and .Wellington, will sail for Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru on Monday. The Holmglen is timed to load here on January 4 for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Breeze is to arrive here to-morrow from Timaru. She will load for Wahganui. The Gale is expected at Lyttelton tomorrow from Wanganui. She is to load for Wellington. The Port Whangarei arrived here yesterday afternoon from Auckland and Wellington, and will sail to-day for Dunedin and Timaru. She will not call at Lyttelton on the northward trip.
