N.S.W. FARMER KILLED BY LIGHTNING
* SYDNEY, December 21. Lightning killed Herbert Fletcher, aged 48, a dairy farmer, while he was tending cows on his farm near Nowra. His clothes were alight and a dead cow lay beside him when his wife reached his side a few seconds after the tragedy. Other cows lay unconscious in the dairy yard.
