REPORTED CRASH OF AIR LINER
FAINT WIRELESS SIGNALS HEARD (Received December 22, 2.10 a.m.) JOHANNESBURG, December 21. Faint wireless signals, believed to be from an aeroplane, have aroused fears that a French air liner has crashed in dense forest*at Chinde, Mozambique. It is reported that natives have located the machine. The pilot is alive but suffering from thirst.
