C.O.R. TESTING
THIRD CLASS CERTIFICATES ELIMINATED The secretary of the New Zealand Dairy Breeders' Federation (Mr J._ P. Kalaugher), has received the following advice from the director of the Dairy Division, Department of Agriculture: Acting upon a request from the New Zealand Dairy Breeds Federation the Dairy Division has decided to eliminate the third class certificate of record, and issue certificates in only two C.O.R. classes in future, namely first and second. In effect the requirements ior first class C.O.R. will remain as at present, and all cows which fail for first-class on subsequent calving, but which qualify in all other respects, will be eligible for a second class certificate. The new rule will come into operation as from January 7, 1937.
