MORE DEATHS FROM CANCER IN U.S.
VICTIMS LAST YEAR TOIAL 153,000
(Received December 16, 12.10 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 14. The American Society states that deaths due to cancer in the United States in 1935 totalled 153,000, which is second only to heart disease. "Cancer is the modern menace of civilised nations and kills more Americans each succeeding year," it comments.
