INFANTILE PARALYSIS
TO TUB COITOX OF TH* PEBS9 Sir, —With reference to the outbreak of infantile paralysis, and the precautions which are being taken here to prevent its spread, may I suggest that mothers have their children use a simple gargle evc'y evening. A teaspoonful of carbonate of soda, and half that quantity of salt, gargled every night on going to bed would help to keep children healthy.—Yours, etc.. S. December 16, 1936.
