FLAG MATCH AT ST. ALBANS A junior A flag match was played on the St. Albans green on Saturday between the New Brighton and St. Albans teams, resulting in a win for St. Albans. The following are the scores (New Brighton names first): — Doubles—Mesdames Ragg and Barnett 26 beat Mesdames Papps and Jones 7; J. Cook and W Cook 14 lost to Watkins and Miss Barker 26; Dey and Mrs Foster 18 lost to Mrs Du Feu and Miss Thomas 26. , Singles—Mrs Ragg 26 beat Mrs Papps 18; Barnett 26 beat Jones 4; J. Cooke 14 lost to Watkins 26; W. Cooke 8 lost to Miss Barker 26; Dey 26 (by default); Miss Foster 24 lost to Miss Thomas 26. ELMWOOD CLUB The Elmwood Croquet Club entertained i team of St. Albans junior players on heir greens on Wednesday last and a very ■n joy able day was spent. Those present were;— St. Albans—Miss Thomas, Mrs Lewthwaite. Mrs Currin, Miss Tipping, Mrs Wilkinson, and Miss Searell. Elmwood—Miss Rfflch, Miss Nurse, Mrs Calvert, Mr Middleton, Mrs Johnston, and Mrs Bates. ,
