The last services of Pastor W. E Vickery at the Ashburton Church of Christ on Sunday were well attended. At the morning service Mr Vickery based his remarks on the words “Watch your steps.” At the evening service in the school hall Pastor Vickery spoke on Paul’s words, “Preachers come and go, but God’s word always remains.” The children’s choir assisted at the service.
