LONGBEACH ROAD BOARD
* MONTHLY MEETING HELD The monthly meeting of the Longbeach Road Board was held yesterday afternoon when there were present; Messrs J. P. McQuilkin (chairman), J. H. Grigg, H. White, and L, Maginn ess. Four ratepayers wrote requesting that a motor bridge be erected at Waterton. *■ It was decided to carry out an inspection and report to the next meeting. The clerk (Mr A. Bushell) submitted a statement of the funds in sight to March 31 next, and the position disclosed was considered satisfactory. The bank pass book showed a debit balance of £l7O ss.
