ROBBERY IN CHICAGO
(Received November 15, 10.50 p.m.) CHICAGO. November 14. Two bandits kidnapped, robbed, and then released John Cuneo, one of the wealthiest men in Chicago, and Mrs Cuneo, and took 35,000 dollars, jewellery, and a 16-cylinder town car. Mrs Cuneo attempted to battle the desperadoes, who threatened to shoot her.
