APPEAL ALLOWED
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, November 13. The appeal against the judgment of the Chief Justice (the Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Myers), in the case heard in the Court of Appeal, on October 8. between the Auto Machine Manufacturing Company and the Canadian Government Merchant Marine, for £661 13s 4d. damages to a shipment of wire which rusted while in transit on the Canadian Highlander from Halifax to Wellington, was allowed in a judgment given this morning, and the Chief Justice’s judgment was reversed with costs.
