Miss Amy Nevill-Smith (“Silver Birchhs,” Sophia street) left yesterday for the North Island, where she will spend some months, visiting friends. Miss Diana Le Cren (Lake Tekapo) is visiting Wellington. Mrs Timaru Rhodes (Hadlow Grange) left yesterday on a visit to Christchurch.
Mrs R. D. King (Sophia street) left for Christchurch yesterday. Mr and Mrs R, Hutton (Otipua) have returned from a visit to Mrs B. E. Evans (Maungati).
