WRESTLING ADMITTANCE CHARGES
TO THB EDITOR Of THE PRESS. Sir, —I am replying to “Lady Fan" this morning on women (ladies, she calls them) attending such shows as boxing and wrestling. What is the meaning of it? Is it an indication of the short distance we have travelled away from the tiger and ape stage? Or, does it signify something deeper—that the women instinctively feel the importance of keeping their men fighting fit. so they “grace” these shows with their presence and add their shrieks to the thrills? It is Benjamin Kidd who says we must look to our women as our uplifters—l wonder?— Yours, etc., PETER TROLOVE.
