TRAINING COLLEGE DANCES

TO THE EDITOR Of THB PRESS. Sir,—l think it is quite time the Education Board awakened to the rowdyism that lakes place in the Training College Hall during the Saturday flight dances. Why is such unpardonable behaviour permitted from 8 p.m. until midnight? At their dance of November 7 they forgot all self-respect and showed no consideration for their principal, Mr J. G. Poison, or their neighbours.—Yours, etc. T.E. November 11, 1936. [“I am quite aware .of what goes on, and I do not think there is any cause for complaint,” said Mr Poison, when this letter was referred to him.]
