MR A. H. SHANKS NOMINATED
VACANT SEAT ON HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL Mr Archibold Henry Shanks, a retired Post and Telegraph officer, is so far the only nominee for the seat on the Heathcote County Council which was left vacant on the resignation of Mr W. W. Scarff, the chairman and councillor of the Cashmere riding. The vacant seat will be for a representative of the Cashmere riding.
