MADRAS, October 8,
“The congress is .going to do its utmost to wrepk, destroy, and uproot the new constitution,” declared Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, president of the Indian National Congress, speaking at a public meeting.
He said it would be fatal for congressmen to accept office. “Let no congressman talk anything even remotely resembling co-operation in working the new act.”
