NORTH BRIGHTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE
RECORD ATTENDANCE REPORTED
The monthly meeting of the North Brighton School Committee was held, with Mr A. Florence (chairman) presiding. The headmaster’s report said tiat tfae roll number was 834, the highest In the history of the school, and there was a satisfactory average attendance. The annual medical inspection carried out by officers of the Health Department during the month resulted in a favourable report Mr L. Hayward and Miss E, 11l Farquhar have been transferred to Flemington and Aranul respectively. ' Parents’ day was fixed for October 30. A sports meeting for children and a display of work win be held at the school Mr J A. Thomson gave two medals, and Mr W. A. Olsen two prizes to the value of one guineg to the sports fund. Messrs Thomson and Wilkins were appointed the visiting committee for the month.
