The opening for the season of the Northcote Cricket Club was ceJebrated with a dance held In the Gaiety Hall, PapanUi. Battle’s orchestra supplied the music and Mr Charles Bond played an extea. A children’s fancy dress social, kdd la the Broadfield schoolroom, in aid of the school funds, proved very successful.
