PEDIGREE FOXHOUNDS FOR DUNEDIN

LONDON, September 2, Two pedigree foxhounds will be shipped by the Rangitlki on September 17. consigned to Mr J M. Murdoch, formerly Master of the Otago Hunt Club, Dunedin. They have been given by British owners after a suggestion by Mr J F, C. Keep (Birmingham) in an English periodical “Horn and Hound." Mr Keep visited Dunedin last March, when be met Mr Murdoch and offered to try to secure for him two bounds in England. One is a bitch and comes from Scot* land. It is a large typ« j of hard-work-ing foxhound. The dogbound U s 21 Inch West Country Harrier, in We third season, and a very reliable and steady worker. Mr Keep prefers not to disclose the names of the donors for he says that most masters od hounds are short of mon«r these days and he wUhes to avoid the, possibility of their being embarrassed by other people asking lor bounds in other countries.
