It is officially announced that the Duchess of Kent has cancelled her forthcoming engagements. She will not make any further engagements this autumn.

PERTH, October 6,
The King’s Prize was won by P. Lee (Albury, New South Wales) with 387 points. W. Gapes (Perth), 384 points, was second, and P. McGeary (Victoria), 382 points, was third. Lee also won the Victorian and Queensland King’s Prizes this year.
