PtfRTHER DAMAGE TO ABEL TASMAN
The heavy seas during the week-end severely buffeted the wrecked steamer Abel Tasman, and a split about six feet long has appeared in the. plates above the rudder mountings. ( A quantity of timber was swept overboard, but there is still more than 250,000 superficial feet of timber on board. The black pine timber is being removed, and is In excellent condition.
