CHRISTCHURCH TO WAIMATE ROAD RACE At a meeting of the sub-committee In charge of the arrangements tot the Christchurch to Waimate road race, which Is to be held on Saturday. Bell; seal, check and tyre examiners, Messrs C. Bright, A. C. Walker, P. Hill, W. P. Daly; announcer, Mr A. B. L. Smith; timekeepers, Mr and Mrs W. J. Walter, Mr G. Henderson, and Mr A. W. Jones; pace observers, Messrs C. Hayward, G. F. Goodall, E. A. McKaskell, G. E. Perkins, J. M. Coffey; clothes steward, Mr O. G. Oakley; handicappers, Messrs P. C. Lucas and W. J. The secretary reported that arrangements had been made to seal the competitors’ cycles at the O.K.
