Sir, —Mr Trolove says he prefers God’s ever open book around us, that have never suffered any vicissitudes m biased translation—the stories of, the rocks and stars,' I , a assure your correspondent that the mistakes, of translators have not altered the fundamental truth. That is that Jesus Christ was God, that He became a man for the express purpose of conquering death for everj man who will accept Him as Saviour, and that He will be Judge. For instance the cherubic wings, which are plainly seen to belong to Gentaurus, are removed. The cross Is also removed from the heels and in some pictures the cross is placed before the sigh.
