MORE STRIKES IN FRANCE
• —; WORKERS NOT YET SATISFIED ANOTHER INCREASE IN WAGES DEMANDED (Received August 19, 10.45 p.m.) PARIS, August 19. The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says fresh stay-in strikes have occuiTed in different parts of France, including Belfort, where building workers are demanding a further wage increase, and Ancheres, where the metal factory was reoccupied. The workers declare that they are not satisfied with the recent reduction of hours of work. A Paris restaurant was also reoccupied.
