CONCERT AT NEW BRIGHTON
The New Brighton District High School concert, held in the Joyland Theatre last evening, was a great success, the programme being given to a large attendance, which continually Showed its appreciation of the various items.
Great credit is due to the headmaster, Mr F. W. Moore, and the staffs of the primary and secondary departments for the excellent training the scholars had- undergone, and also to the members of the school committee, all of whom had assisted in making the concert a success.
During the interval, the chairman (Dr. W. T. Glasgow) said that the library fund would benefit considerably from the concert, but it would be necessary to make further efforts. He thanked the Returned Soldiers’ Association and all those who had assisted in making the concert a success.
