ORPHANAGES’ BENEFIT
RADIO CONCERT TO-NIGHT It is confidently hoped that to-night’s broadcast by 3YA of the concert in the Radiant Hall will result in a big collection to help the city’s orphanages -Presbyterian, Anglican, and Methodist. Bins Addy, the talented Indian singer, who has just completed her contract with the Broadcasting Board, will appear in native costume. The programme, of unusual length, will be given by leading artists, with popular choruses by the Optimists’ Club, Admission Is free, with a collection. Radio listeners are asked to contribute in the special envelopes recently issued to them.
