BODY RECOVERED FROM MANUKAU HARBOUR

AUCKLAND, July 5. The body of Albert Romulus Spiers, a retired greengrocer, aged 59, of Onehunga, who had been missing from his house since 4 a.m. on Saturday, was found in the Manukau Harbour to-day. It was first seen at midday by a pedestrian, who notified the police. A sergeant and constable chartered a launch and recovered the body in a heavy sea.
Spiers, who had been in failing health, leaves a widow and a grownup family.
