LESS TENSION IN PALESTINE
POLICE PATROL FIRED ON (Received June 18, 7.35 p.m.) JERUSALEM, June 17. It is unsafe to assume that the period of violence has passed, but the tension is much less. The occupants of a roadside rifle pit fired on a police patrol at Rantiya. The police retaliated, killing one and wounding others.
