LODGE MEETINGS
The Pride of Christchurch Tent, 1.0. R., held its fortnightly meeting, with the Chief Ruler, Sister E. Rowberry, presiding. Three new members were initiated. A motion of sympathy was passed to Sister Rowberry in the loss of her brother. Sister Martin, P.S.F.M., replied to the welcome extended to her, and urged the members of the tent to gain new members this year. The social portion of the meeting was arranged by Brother J. Provan.
Chief Ranger Bro. W. F. Jacobsen presided at a meeting of Court Star of Canterbury, No, 2309, A.0.F., held in the Foresters’ Hall, Oxford terrace. Two candidates were initiated into the order by the Chief Banger, assisted by Worthy Bro. F. P. Islip. One candidate was proposed for membership.
