* STUDENTS ELECT NEW COMMITTEE Following the resignation of the previous committee of the Canterbury College Dialectic Society, an extraordinary general meeting was held in the Students’ Association building last evening.

Hegret was expressed at the loss to the society of Miss D. Neal, who is leaving for America shortly. The committee members elected for the remainder of the current year were:—Joint secretaries, Messrs B. J. Wilson and J. N. Matson; treasurer, Miss I. Wright; committee members, Messrs G. C. Weston, C. F. Hart. Miss N. Freeman.
