A MOTORIST'S COMPLAINT
TO THU EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir, —This thing called British justice! What of it? For parking my car outside my own business premises for something in excess of the time allowed under the parking regulations, I was invited to appear before a local magistrate, the time of receipt of notice to do so being at least six weeks after the offence. Result: Fined £2 with costs. For a similar offence a city solicitor was fined half my amount. British justice! Again, I ask, what of it?—
Yours, etc., M. June 11, 1936.
