Miss Patricia Ritchie (Te Tawa), who will be her guest for a few days, will stay with Mrs George Ritchie (Dunedin) before returning home. , Miss D&venish-Meares (“The Bungalow’) has returned from a visit to Hanmer Springs and Christchurch. Mrs W. A. Moore ("Vonard,” Waliti road) has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Miss Molly Orbell (Pentlow) has returned from a visit to Mrs Colin Doueas (Waimate). 5 Mrs A. Godwin (Otipua road) is spending a holiday at Oamaru Mrs N. Thompson is staying with her mother, Mrs Brosnahan (Otipua). Miss Alison West-Watson was the guest of Mrs G, J, Wallace for the week-end. * Miss Dorothy Walton (Park lane) Elsie Sutton (Oamaru). The death of Miss Katherine Jane Luxmore Woollcombe, daughter of Captain B. Woollcombe, a Timaru pioneer, removed one who had worked m t ny years to advance St Mary’s Church. She was keenly interested in all church activities, and was prominently associated with the work 2? Saints Church, Waixnataital Wr, p year f- Miss Woollcombe had been connected with Sunday School teaching m the district, and she w£s a oardent worker for the Guild, having been in charge of the work of the guild for many yesus and she was a frequent visitor to homes m ttie district.
