RACECOURSE ROAD

TO TEE EDITOR or THE PRESS. Sir, —Lately the traffic inspectors have been busy catching cyclists in the Brighton district who ride on the footpath of Racecourse road.' This, I am sure your readers will agree, is a praiseworthy pastime. But plight I suggest that they carry out a parallel campaign of a merciful nature. Could not the council employees be detailed to go out after tea with wheelbarrows to pick up the corpses of the natives who have crashed on their cycles in the shingle of Racecourse road? Hoping that this humble suggestion will be carried to the right quarters.— Yours, etc,, CORP. June 14. 1936. •
