The Legislature has dis-f-Ived, wth the election fixed 'or August 15. The enauirv revealed that thP Premier's brother. Antoine, accountant for the Government, deposited Government funds with his sen, wbo was a bank manager. The son drew 3 per crnt. interest on the »w*ys, b:u returned to the Govtmment only H per cent. Tfa* Attorney-General. Mr C Lanctot, resicned when the enquiry h«trd hints that he was too friendly with men convicted as swindlers.
