FREE LECTURES IN PSYCHOLOGY

RETURN OF W. SHAKESPEAREBINKS The mental basis of success and happiness in life is emphasised by Mr W. Shakespeare-Binks, the psychology lecturer. Mr Binks bases his claims to help his listeners to greater confidence, and to clearer thinking, on the study of psychology, which he describes as “Just common sense controlled by rules which create for those who master them an atmosphere of confidence, clear thinking, and straight dealing.” It is not asserted that anyone who wishes to be happy and successful can become so merely by thinking about it. It is essential that psychology, once learned, should be applied. Many people have dreams which, if given actuality, would be useful and profitable to them. But usually the “dreamers” lack the self-confidence needed to given tangible form to their dreams. Psychology, Mr Binks claims, is a body of knowledge the possession of which is not only desirable, but necessary. In his free public lectures, which will begin next Tuesday in the Radiant Hall, he will explain the elements of psychology, leading on to a fuller study of the subject. The subjects will be announced shortly.
