“GREEN BELT” ROUND LONDON
ARRESTING SPREAD OF BUILDING
(IRITISB OFFICUt WIRELESS.) (Received March 30, 7.50 p.m.) RUGBY, March 28. A report to come before the London County Council on Tuesday records substantial progress with the scheme to establish the "green belt" round outer London, which will make a definite break in the spread of building. The purchase of about 18,000 acres in six counties, at a cost of £713,000, has already been provisionally approved.
