CANTERBURY COLLEGE COUNCIL
ELECTION OP MEMBERS
An election of members of the Canterbury University College Council will be held on June 1. Seven of the present members of the council are due to retire at the end of April. The rolls will close on May 4, and nominations will close at midday on May 11. The retiring members are Miss E. A. Chaplin (appointed by the Gover-nor-General), Mr E. J. Howard, M.P;
(appointed by Canterbury members of Parliament), Messrs R. A. Campbell and R. Hepburn (appointed by graduates), Mr J. G. Poison (appointed by teachers), Mr W. A. Banks (appointed by school committees), and Dr. H. G. Denham (representing the Professorial Board).
