A young Maori, Martin Peraaiki, otherwise known as Bobby Martin, gave himself up this morning after a search by a posse of 11 mounted police operating in the Tikokino district, 17 miles from Waipukurau, had proved Shortly after midnight on Saturday Mr J. Vesty gave chase to a man who was discovered in the -act of breaking into his home. Early in ( the same morning Mr Vesty and Constable Dawson made a capture, but the; man broke away in the darkness. He was armed with a shotgun and cartridges.
