GENEVA, March 8.
The Council of the League of Nations will meet on March 13 to consider France's protest. The league has communicated the French appeal to Germany, asking whether Germany desires to participate in the league council's debate on the subject.

The Foreign Secretary (Mr R. A.' Eden) and M. Corbin (French Ambassador) conferred at the Foreign Office. Otherwise, all is quiet at Whitehall and the German Embassy. There is considerable activity at the French Embassy.
