ADMIRALTY TAKES OVER

SINGAPORE, March 7
An official message states that the contractors have completed the main works on the Singapore Base, which has been taken over by Admiralty engineers to carry out subsidiary works. The base is now authoritatively regarded as an effective unit in Imperial defence in the Pacific.
