MORTGAGORS’ RELIEF
TO TUB BDITOB OF THE PEfcSS, Sir,—The Minister for Justice has has been engaged eo long in ignoring my letter that it is not, surprising now to find he has decided not to reply. His reply to my statements could be of little consequence, but his reference to anonymous correspondents would hardly be expected from one in his position. To refrain from commenting on a letter proves nothing either way, but when the cry of ananymous correspondent is raised most people take it as an admission of defeat with a bad grace. My few mild sentences were timely and much needed, though unfortunately they could not go far enough. The Minister cannot be blamed for the appointment of any of these misfits, but the responsibility for retaining them is his Yours, etc., T A S March 7, 1936.
