RAILWAY EXCURSION POSTPONED
A tramping excursion to Mount Winterslow and SharpUn Falls, arranged by the Railways Department, which was to have been' held yesterday; was postponed because of the bad weather. Other outings which had to be cancelled were a guards’ picnic to Lyttelton, a lodge picnic to Southbridge, and tjie grocers’ picnic* to Little River.
