Tho C class boats wore sent away at 3 p.m., the B class at 3.3 p.m.. and the A class five minutes later. The race resulted In a win for the A class boat, Omega, sailed by D. Collins. At the conclusion of the race a prominent official of the club commented adversely on the manner in which the majority Of competitors failed to acquaint themselves with the condtlons of the race and the correct course to be sailed. This was' always posted In the. clUb-house before the race, and the onus was on the skippers to make themselves conversant with this information. n1 Next Saturday a junior ' race will be sailed over the Sumner course if conditions’ are suitable.
