MATCH AGAINST NATAL
AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS IN AFRICA
(.CINITKO TRESS ASSOCIATION UOI'YUIIiHT.) (Received February 23, 7.42 p.m.) DURBAN, February 22.
In the natch against Natal, Australia, in its first innings, made 256. The weather was overcast and muggy. The wicket was rather fast. Richardson was rather lucky on more than one occasion, and faced the slow spin bowler, Murray, rather shakily. Murray troubled the best of the Australian batsmen—in fact, his bowling was the feature of the innings. Wade and Siedle opened confidently, collecting. 15 runs in 10 minutes. Siedle was then surprisingly yorked by Sievers. An appeal against the light was upheld at 5.15 p.m. The Nelal team was:—H. Wade, Siedle, Nourse, Harvey. Dalton, Pennington,' Hamilton, W. Wade (wicketkeeper), Anderson, Murray, Sparks, Belville 'twelfth man). Scores:—
