JAPANESE ELECTION RESULTS
NON-PARTY GOVERNMENT HAS CLEAR MAJORITY TOKYO, February 23. The election resulted:—Minsei-to (Liberals), 205 seats; Seiyu-kai (Conservatives), 174. It is expected that the smaller parties, with 35 seats, will co-operate with the Minsei-to to support Admiral Keisuke Okada's non-party Government, which thus has a clear majority. The Socialists, with 18 seats, remain outside the coalition.
