EMPIRE BROADCAST BY THE KING
ADDRESS ON MARCH 11 (■EITISB OWCJAI. WIHI.MB.) RUGBY, February 21. An announcement is made by the British Broadcasting Corporation that his Majesty the King will broadcast to the Empire at 4 p.m. (Greenwich time) on s . u , nda u y ' March 1. His Majesty will be heard from all British transmitters, including the Empire station at Daventry.
[The time for the address is 4 o clock en Monday morning in New Zealand. It will be radiated to the Empire through the stations being used for transmission 3, and the times for broadcasting a recording of the speecn to the other zones will be announced later this week. The King's speech will be during a special programme from 3.30 to 4.30 o'clock.]
